Behavioral Health

Behavioral health refers to mental health and substance use disorders, life stressors and crises, and stress-related physical symptoms. Behavioral health care is the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of those conditions. At the CBWF our behavioral health programs provide access to services to fight mental and emotional condition and substance abuse. Our dedicated Behavioral Health team members provide patients with evaluation, support, and education services in a positive, nurturing, trauma-informed environment. Licensed professionals assess each patient and determine the best program and plan for their care.

We are a Texas Community Certified Behavioral Health Center. To achieve this certification, our organization has committed to operating as an integrated behavioral health clinic that supports the Texas CCBHC Criteria and the Texas Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan. The CCBHC model integrates primary care screenings and substance use disorder care into mental health care settings clinically, financially, and administratively, with the goal of improving overall health outcomes while providing treatment through a trauma-informed lens.

The CBWF is dedicated to improving access of comprehensive community-based mental health services to our patients.
